Disabled students' Allowance can be awarded by Student Finance England, with evidence of a Specific Learning Difficulty for Disability.

For students with dyslexia this evidence is diagnostic assessment report, carried out by an assessor with an Assessment Practising Certfificate.

Students with ADHD or Dyspraxia can apply by providing medical evidence, however due to long waiting times, students with ADHD or dyspraxia can also apply with a Specialist Teacher Assessor report if they have an Assessment Practicing Certificate and have undertaken additional training

These assessments follow the standard format for dyslexia, ADHD and Dyspraxia assessments, with recommendations focusing higher level study.
